Geoffrey Seagrave Pearson〔(Anglican web-site )〕 (known as Geoff;〔(Diocese of Blackburn — Bishop's Staff )〕 born 18 July 1951) is the current Bishop of Lancaster in the Church of England.〔 He was educated at St John's College, Durham.〔 Ordained in 1974〔Crockford's Clerical Directory 2008/2009 Lambeth, Church House Publishing ISBN 978-0-7151-1030-0〕 his career began with a curacy at Kirkheaton after which he was the incumbent at the Church of the Redeemer, Blackburn〔 and finally (before his elevation to the Episcopate) the Vicar of Roby.
